Thinking of Questions - Interview With a Practitioner

For my interview, I want to contact someone who works within the stop-motion side of animation so that I ca get some knowledge into how to start in the industry myself get some tips into how they approached it.

The first question that I wanted to ask was what is their main job role and what they did within that role, this way I could maybe even discover new jobs within stop-motion that I might not have heard much about before.

Another question could be to ask how they got into the stop-motion industry, which would be a really interesting question as everyone's story will be different.

I would also like to ask about getting your work seen and what steps did they take to ensure their work got noticed and stood out from others. This could be a question that's a little hard to answer as people do not want to give away all their secrets, however if they could give any handy tips and tricks it would be really helpful for me!

Finally, I want to ask if they have any life advice being involved in stop-motion animation and if there are any major things you should know before going into it. This will allow for any new information that I might not know yet and maybe even some negative points around stop-motion.

I have already conducted a few email interviews around Laika that I did for my animation studio research, but now I want to carry out a few more into different studios such as Aardman that are a little closer to home. I will also try and use LinkedIn to get some emails that might not be available just on people websites.
